Msgr. Fellay is currently the superior general of the Society of St. Pius X emphasized the importance of this sacrament in his sermon when he said "this sacrament in which the Holy Ghost is given to those already baptized in order to make them strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ."
Accompanying him in this special event are four priests of the Society: Fr. Régis de Cacqueray (SSPX French District Superior), and members of the SSPX St. Joseph Priory in Davao: Fr. Timothy and Fr. Joseph Pfieffer as well as Fr. Alexander Ohra.
