We attended the 10th Annual Catholic Pilgrimage organized by the Apostles of Mary and the Society of St. Pius X in Bohol between May 19 and 22, 2011. It was an amazing experience for more than 500 pilgrims who came from various parts of the country and who braved the 63 kilometer, 3-day walk from Tagbilaran (St. Joseph Cathedral) to Carmen (Our Lady of Carmel Shrine).
We were accompanied by 8 priests, several religious brothers and sisters.
For a brief explanation, a pilgrimage is a journey or search of great moral or spiritual significance. It is a journey to a shrine of importance to a person's beliefs and faith.
